Healthcare at Home is the market-leading, commercial, out of hospital clinical provider established in 1992 by founder and former chairman Charles Walsh based in Burton on Trent.
The company supplies a wide range of pharmaceuticals and home healthcare with around 1,500 employees caring for more than 160,000 patients per year.
In Autumn 2015, the company went through a full corporate rebranding, including new logos, literature, strap line and website to re-establish the company's status in the market.

Healthcare at Home is Europe's biggest medicines dispensary. Our headquarters is in the UK, covering all four nations and corners of the UK. There is also a physical presence across Europe in Ireland, Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and distribute and deliver medicines across 29 Countries.
Healthcare at Home have 1,500 staff, including 750 in clinical roles, and experience in over 50 different therapy areas.

In 1992, Healthcare at Home is established. Charles Walsh founded the organisation with a vision to enhance the way in which clinical and pharmaceutical services are provided for patients, their families and carers.
In 2010, the Hospital Care at Home report was launched. This was a key report which focused on the opportunity to realise a healthcare system that embraced the delivery of care and treatment outside hospital, highlighting potential savings of up to £1.2bn
In 2014, the NHS Five Year View was Published. This visionary report sets out clear recommendations for healthcare services to be delivered locally and in a community setting within five years.
In 2018 and beyond, technology is to transform how Homecare is delivered. Digital remote monitoring tools and platforms are being developed to interact with patients to improve the patient experience and increase potential to gain insight.
Present
In the latest Patient Voice Report, 96% of Healthcare at Home's patients are satisfied. As a comparison, the NHS Friends and Family Test latest figures (November 2017) show that 94% of patients would recommend the NHS outpatient service.
At present, Healthcare at Home engage in over 3 million patient interactions per year.
